2. Cover Letter

Please attach a short cover letter stating why you are applying for this internship. Applicants to the Office of the Curator should specify one or more preferred project areas from among Collections Management, Digital Assets Management, or Visitor Programs. Your cover letter MUST be in either PDF or Microsoft WORD format.





3. Résumé

Please attach your résumé below. Your résumé MUST be in either PDF or Microsoft WORD format.






4. Short Essay on a Former Justice

Please attach an original short essay about a former Justice of the Supreme Court. The essay should explain your choice of Justice and what parts of his or her work and biography hold particular interest and significance to you. The essay should be two to four pages, double-spaced, with one-inch margins, and Times New Roman 12 point font. Your essay MUST be in either PDF or Microsoft WORD format.


Only graduate students applying exclusively to Collections Management Internships in the Office of the Curator may choose to omit this essay.




5. Transcript

Please upload a current copy of your transcript or transcripts in PDF format. Applicants who receive a provisional offer of an internship may be asked to arrange for an original official transcript to be sent directly to the Court.
